Job description:

As a Project Quality Manager, you will need to lead quality assurance efforts across projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement quality control strategies, resolve quality issues, and enhance overall project efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Gather product quality requirements from external customers and internal product definitions, and drive internal departments to break down and convert quality standards. Take the lead in confirming, filing, and distributing product inspection standards, and oversee the final implementation of quality standards.
  2. Participate in project activities from the project kick-off phase. Submit the project quality control plan, promote project quality management work in accordance with the project quality plan, and submit corresponding output materials, such as project review reports.
  3. Identify quality risks in the project R & D and production processes. Organize relevant departments to assess quality risks, formulate response plans, monitor the execution efficiency and effectiveness of the plans, and lead the horizontal expansion and standardization of the plans.
  4. During the entire project life cycle, take the lead in quality communication with customers. This includes filling out customer surveys, providing on-site audit support for customers, and handling customer complaints.
  5. Take the lead in collecting and organizing quality "Lesson Learn" to form a company - level problem database. Use this problem database as an input for the company's DFMEA and PFMEA to improve the maturity of the company's FMEA tool application.
  6. Lead the review of major quality issues at the market end and in EMS factories. Not only supervise the correction of problems but also promote improvements in the system and management processes. Prevent recurrence from the perspective of the company's quality system processes.

Qualifications required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree major in computer, communication, electronic information or related.
  2. Candidates with IATF16949 external auditor certificates and PMP certificates are preferred.
  3. Have more than 3 years of work experience in project quality management or as a project manager in the electronics or communication industry.

    Preferred skills and experience:

    1. Be familiar with quality control tools such as APQP, FMEA, the seven QC tools, and Six Sigma management.
    2. Understanding of project lifecycle, risk assessment, and quality gates.
    3.  Experience in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
    4. Ability to create and manage quality plans, procedures, and metrics.

    3. Initiative and independence in solving daily tasks.
    4. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
