OVERVIEW

The NetPrisma WCX040-FC is a long-range, energy-efficient Wi-Fi HaLow module that operates within the license-exempt Sub-1 GHz spectrum.

Operating within the 902–928 MHz frequency band and offering channel widths of 1/2/4 and 8 MHz, the WCX040-FC boasts a maximum physical data rate of 32.5 Mbps and a theoretical maximum output power of 21 dBm. Utilizing the Sub-1 GHz band, the module provides superior coverage and penetration, extending the reach of smart home and smart city networks, and facilitating control over IoT devices within a 1km radius.

The WCX040-FC is designed for low power consumption and supports huge device density, theoretically allowing up to 8,191 devices to connect simultaneously to the same Wi-Fi access point. This makes it ideally suited for large-scale IoT device access requirements.

With ultra-compact dimensions of 13.0 mm × 13.0 mm × 2.2 mm, the WCX040-FC significantly reduces the size and design costs of end products, perfectly meeting the needs of size-sensitive applications.
